Stay in hotels near National Opera

The National Opera of Bucharest opened its doors in 1954. It features magnificent interiors and neoclassical style outside. Romania acquired many influences coming from Italy, which can be seen in the local architecture. The theatre hosts both opera and ballet performances, the ticket for which should be bought months in advance because of their popularity. Even though you can book a guided tour in a group of 10, we would recommend buying a ticket to the opera and enjoy the unique experience. Situated in the western part of the city centre, the area is nice to stay in. You'll find a number of hotels near National Opera or near the park in the area with views of the river.
